NETSUITE ENSURES BLUEBRIDGE ONE

E-TAILERS HIT RECORD REVENUES

 

REDHILL, England - February 4, 2008 - BlueBridge One, a leading UK provider of on-demand business solutions and NetSuite EMEA Solution Provider of the Year for 2007, has reported that its NetSuite e-commerce customers experienced record sales growth in December 2007, compared with the same period a year ago.

Research by e-commerce analysts Interactive Media in Retail Group (IMRG) indicates that internet shopping over Christmas helped push total UK online sales up by 75% to £53bn during 2007.

BlueBridge One's e-tailers showed a similar trend, with one company, Justoffbase, reporting a sales increase of over 150% for December 2007 compared to the same time period in 2006.

"It is very pleasing to note that so many of our customers experienced such good trading results in the lead-up to Christmas," said Jon Ryan, Managing Director, BlueBridge One. "For many of our customers, this is a make or break trading period".

Some of the NetSuite e-commerce users who reported rapid e-commerce growth include:

Winebox ( www.winebox.co.uk ), a major supplier of gift and transit packaging to the drinks, deli and hamper trade in the UK and Ireland . The number of web orders increased 67% between December 2006 and December 2007. The December figures represent a 50% increase in revenue. November web orders were up 53% in 2007, also an increase in revenue of nearly 50% on November 2006.

"Our NetSuite application helped us cope with an increase in sales in terms of order processing and management, and is an invaluable tool in our marketing, because it identifies target groups and hits them with specific e-mail campaigns," said Managing Director Tim Wilkinson.

Winebox's new website is hosted by NetSuite, and Mr Wilkinson says it is a vast improvement on the previous solution used by Winebox.

"It is so much easier to navigate - our customers really like it and comment on it," he said. "This site will form a very important part of our marketing and sales in the future as we intend to try and drive more and more sales through the site. We would not have been able to effectively do this with the old site. The ability for us to maintain our site in-house with NetSuite is fantastic and a very big plus."

Justoffbase ( www.justoffbase.co.uk ) an online tool and equipment store, and NetSuite users since 2003, reports that December 2007 sales figures were up 159% compared to the same period last year.

Tim James-Parker, Partner of Justoffbase, credits the NetSuite application with helping his staff of only four process nearly 2500 web orders in December alone. The company has had over one million unique visitors to its NetSuite powered web store.

Ashridge Trees ( www.ashridgetrees.co.uk ) is a supplier of h edging and hedge plants, trees, roses, fruit trees and soft fruit . Overall Christmas 2007 sales were up 31% on the previous year.

Julian de Bosdari, Managing Director of Ashridge Trees, said that his staff could not have handled the volume of business without using NetSuite. "Our Web-based business has grown 87% this year, while turnover has more than doubled in the same period," he said.
