What are the benefits of SuiteExtender versus custom development?

Will SuiteExtenders continue to work when my NetSuite account is upgraded?
Yes. SuiteExtenders are developed using NetSuite's NBOS development. The platform is designed to enable customisations to be portable from one version of NetSuite to the next without any user intervention. Additionally any annual licence purchase of a SuiteExtender will entitle you to free Maintenance. This covers users for the cost of any modifications required as a result of a NetSuite update.
Will SuiteExtenders support non-UK versions of NetSuite?
The majority of SuiteExtenders support US and International versions of NetSuite. Those that do not support all versions of NetSuite display "UK VERSION ONLY"
Who installs the SuiteExtender in my NetSuite account?
Once you have submitted an online request to purchase (or trial) a SuiteExtender a BlueBridge One consultant will contact you to arrange installation of the SuiteExtender in your NetSuite account. At that point the consultant will further explain the process to you and provide additional information if required. In most cases the installation process is relatively simple and involves uploading a NetSuite "Bundle" into your account. In order to do this the consultant will request temporary NetSuite login details for you account.
Is a Free Trial available?
No. Trials are not available. However you can request a online demo at any stage from a BlueBridge One consultant.
Are SuiteExtenders Annually Licenced?
Yes. Like your NetSuite licence SuiteExtenders are licenced annually in advance.
What is the process for ordering and installing a SuiteExtender?
When you have decided which SuiteExtender you require and you have placed your order we will contact you to gather more information. As part of the process we will issue you with an email statement of work for your approval.
Once you have appproved the statement of work a consultant will contact you to request login details for your account.
The install process can then begin. The consultant will log in to your account, establish your account number and then "Bundle" the SuiteExtender across from our BlueBridge One Development account and install in your account.
Once installed the consultant will then complete any additional configuration that may be required depending on the SuiteExtender you purchased.
The consultant will then do a full test of the SuiteExtender's functionality in your account to ensure it works as required. Once this is complete you will be notified by automated email that the installation task and statement of work are now complete.
How are SuiteExtenders updated?
If you have previously purchased a SuiteExtender from us you will be entitled to any updates we make to it for free.
If an update becomes available we will advise you and send you intructions on how to install the update. Generally to update the SuiteExtender in your Netsuite account you navigate to Setup…Customisation…Install Bundle…List . Locate the SuiteExtender that you want to update, here you will also see the date it was installed and when it was last updated, on the far right of the screen there will be a link called Update for the relevant SuiteExtender, click this to commence the update. Occassionally additional setup will be required per our instructions.
On our website at http://www.bluebridgeone.com/SuiteExtenders.you will find that each SuiteExtender has a Last Updated field. This indicates when the SuiteExtender was last updated. |
