Description:
Simplify project tracking and workflows with your employees using Workplans. The Workplans SuiteExtender enables templates of activities (tasks and phone calls) to be defined. Templates are then used to quickly create workplans. Workplan tasks and phone calls are automatically assigned to your employees and start and due dates calculated for you. Activities can be automatically attached to other NetSuite records, such as customers or sales orders, and configuration of the SuiteExtender enables custom buttons to be added to forms to initiate the creation of a workplan. Several colour-coded searches and views enable the progress of workplans and their activities to be monitored. Advanced features enable the automatic creation of workplans to a predefined schedule and the customisation of workplans via SuiteScript to create workplans on specific triggers and tailor workplans for specific uses.
Examples include:
- Compile a list of month-end activities and automatically create tasks for your staff to ensure nothing is missed.
- Create a list of tasks and phone calls to be made at particular intervals. Attach this workplan to an invoice to ensure after-sales policy is followed. Script the plan so it is automatically created when an invoice is raised, assigning certain tasks to the customer's sales rep.
- Create a workplan template to follow through tasks required when a new lead is received.
- Attach workplans to custom records for complete custom workflows.
